New Rescue Fire Building

A new building to house our new Rescue Fire equipment and crew is under construction.

The building will be a big change for the airport with all staff operating from the same premises.

Construction is well underway and is due for completion early November. Construction is by Hillcon Construction. 

The project coincides with the sealing of the grass taxiway Alpha, with a new stub taxiway leading to the new building to enable the emergency vehicles to have all weather hardstand to quickly access the runway. This new taxiway will also enable an adjacent hangar to have all weather access and will enable more hangar/operator sites to be established at a later date.

This is an exciting development for the airport and will prove to be a great assett.
